German Cockroach Inspection and Identification
German cockroaches are smaller compared to other species of cockroaches. They are 15mm long and have two long dark strips on the pronotum behind their head. Because of their small size, they sometimes look like small brown beetles. German cockroaches reproduce quickly because the female cockroach produces egg cases that contain up to 50 eggs, and they complete their whole life cycle in around 3 months. German cockroaches go through 5-6 development stages as they grow before they turn into an adult. Each time they shed their skin to move into the next stage.
